Platform
The first government digital platform for distance training dedicated to providing professional development services for educational staff in Egypt. The platform was proposed in 2019 by specialists from the Information Directorate at the Professional Academy for Teachers as part of the Academy’s institutional development and digital transformation strategy. Following official approval, the platform was developed by the Academy’s Information Directorate expert team and launched in 2020 during the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its pilot phase successfully delivered training and assessment services to more than 300,000 teachers targeted for promotion. Since then, the platform has continued to expand and enhance its services in alignment with the national digital transformation agenda, the vision of the political leadership, and Egypt Vision 2030.
